Youth Advocacy Rally

This Rally has been designed for Youth who are already advocating or thinking about wanting to become a youth advocate. Adult Youth Advisors or adults who are thinking about becoming a Youth Advisor This Rally will be youth-led, featuring Juan and Marco Borrego, high school student founders of Vaping-Attention To Prevention. There will also be other youth leaders sharing their experiences with advocacy, trivia questions, and giveaways! This Youth Advocacy Rally will be unlike any event V4P has had in the past. So save the date for this one of a kind virtual Advocacy Rally event!!!

Advocacy Webinar for Beginners

The webinar will be presented by Gregg Raduka, Ph.D.,LPC,ICPS who has extensive expertise in advocacy and is the Director of Prevention/Intervention with the Council on Alcohol and Drugs. He will be joined by Ms. Shannon Lawson, also with the Council and also with advocacy experience.

The webinar is designed mainly for those in 501 c3 organizations who cannot lobby but who are able (per Federal guidelines) to educate legislators and other policymakers regarding substance abuse and suicide prevention. The webinar is mainly designed for those who are in the early stages of learning about advocacy and policy education, but those with more experience can benefit as well.
